A note for international students*
Individual Lesson Availability
Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 4:30pm – 8:30pm
I offer individual tailored lessons for Key Stage 3 Science, GCSE combined or triple physics and GCSE mathematics as follows:
Lessons are offered in packs of 5. The first package includes an initial free consultation. Packages are priced as follows:
Initial 40 minute zoom meeting to discuss your requirements and for you to assess whether I am the right tutor for you – completely free £0.00. No payment required prior to this meeting. *First package only*.
Ks3 – 5 60 minute lessons: £170
GCSE Physics or Mathematics – 5 60 minute lessons – £210
All lessons include a recap of first principles, plently of question practice and a worksheet to complete after the session. I am also available to provide feedback. GCSE lessons focus on exam technique and use past paper questions.
After registering, you will recieve a personal learning space provided by TutorBird. Here, you can access my calender and select 5 lessons. They do not need to be consecutive. Choose from any available slots.
* just a note to state that I do not offer single lessons for good reason; consistency and practice are essential for learning and we would not achieve that in a single lesson.*
All lessons are suitable for those studying the AQA, Cambridge GCSE or iGCSE, or the Pearson Edexcel GCSE or iGCSE specifications. KS3 follows the National Curriculum.
Home-schooled student packages
I offer online small group packages for mathematics and/or science students at greatly reduced prices. Please check my dedicated home-school page for details. These run on Monday and Tuesdays during school hours.

- Electricity: Understanding electrical circuits, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Particle Model of Matter: Examining the behaviour of solids, liquids, gases, and changes of state.
- Atomic Structure: Studying radioactivity and the properties of atoms.
- Forces and Motion: Covering Newton’s laws, momentum, and equations of motion.
- Waves: Investigating the properties of waves, including light and sound.
- Magnetism and Electromagnetism: Understanding magnetic fields and their practical applications.
- Space Physics: Exploring the solar system, life cycles of stars, and the expanding universe.
I use a variety of past papers and exam-style questions to help students practise, building their exam techniques and confidence for multiple-choice questions, extended responses, and calculations.
A-Level Physics Tuition (from February 2025)
For A-Level students, I cover the full depth and breadth of the syllabus, with a focus on:
- Measurements and Errors: Developing an understanding of precision, accuracy, and uncertainties in experiments.
- Particles and Radiation: Exploring fundamental particles, antiparticles, and quantum phenomena.
- Mechanics and Materials: Analysing forces, motion, and the properties of materials.
