About John
Experienced Physics and Mathematics teacher and online tutor. BSc Honours and PGCE Physics with QTS from the University of Sussex. Safeguarding is my absolute priority. I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS), maintained on the update service.

I strive to make physics both clear and enjoyable, bringing each topic to life with real-world examples and practical applications. My online lessons are interactive and immersive, tailored to the unique needs of each student. Complex ideas are broken down into manageable concepts, making learning both effective and enjoyable.
Quite simply, I’m successful at what I do because I’m passionate about my subject and can teach it effectively. Teaching is what I do every day, and I love it. I look forward to working with you so that you, too, can become a confident and successful physics and maths student!

John has just started working on maths exam revision with our son in preparation for his GCSE’s. He has been so pro-active in the preparation. Establishing his level, where is weaknesses lie, the style of teaching he responds to and after the first couple of lessons our son is excited to learn. He is also super proficient during online lessons – using a variety of techniques to communicate and share work and ideas. I would strongly recommend him!
