About Ronaldo
Hello! I’m Ronaldo, and I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language since 2008 in schools throughout Brazil. As well as my academic qualifications to teach, I hold a TEFL certificate and I come highly recommended by the World TESOL Academy. I have worked in public and private schools, taught in rural communities, and helped adults develop their language skills, as well as teaching online via Zoom.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your English skills, I’ll tailor lessons to suit your needs, helping you build confidence and fluency. Let’s make learning English an enjoyable and rewarding experience!
Beyond the Books
I hold a degree in Languages – Portuguese/English and Literature, along with postgraduate studies in Conference Translation and Interpretation, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Broadcast Journalism. With a Master’s in Free Psychoanalysis and an Honorary Doctorate in the field, I bring a deep understanding of language, culture, and communication to my teaching.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve worked as an international correspondent, contributing to major Brazilian broadcasters such as TV THATHI, Record TV, and Globo. My diverse academic and professional background allows me to tailor lessons to suit your learning style, making Portuguese both accessible and engaging.

And Saturday mornings.
I offer individual tailored 50 minute lessons.
